Proposed Masterplan
A Golden Opportunity
Mohammedi Park, Karachi is a golden opportunity to create a truly sustainable human settlement in the current context of world-wide climate change. It is the extraordinary and rare ability of its inhabitants – the Bohras – to come together as a community under their spiritual leader Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS, to work for their collective good, to share resources and to live in harmony that will create such a place, exemplary not only for Pakistan but the entire world.
The Honey Bee as Metaphor for Mu’mineen
The honey bee, however, only sets out on its mission of collecting nectar after having made their homes in the hills and the trees as set out in the aayat sharifah; And thy Lord taught the bee to build its home in the hills, on trees and in human habitats.
Similarly, one should first build one’s home, the home of his beliefs and faith and with Maula’s raza Mubarak and humility set out to acquire the best of what is on offer. Only then will the efforts of his labour be sweet.
